Hey everyone welcome, to my channel where I share insights and strategies on launching and expanding your business. In todays video I’ll be discussing the expenses involved in establishing an aps company in Denmark.
A limited company, also known as an “ApS” is a form of liability company in Denmark. As the owner of an ApS you’re shielded from liability for any debts or obligations incurred by the company. This makes it a popular choice among entrepreneurs seeking to safeguard their assets.
Now lets delve into the costs associated with setting up an ApS in Denmark. It’s important to note that these fees can vary depending on your circumstances. Lets break them down step by step.
Firstly you’ll need to have a minimum share capital of 40,000 DKK ( 5,400 euros). This capital represents your investment in the business. Reflects your ownership stake. It must be paid in full before finalizing the registration process with the Danish Business Authority.
Secondly there is a registration fee to the Danish Business Authority, for registering your company. This fee amounts to 670 DKK (around 90 euros or 100 US dollars). You have the option to make the payment, for this fee online while submitting your registration form.
Next it is advisable to enlist the services of an accountant who can guide you through the incorporation process. They will assist you in preparing documents like articles of association, shareholder agreements and tax registrations. Additionally they will verify that your share capital has been deposited into a bank account during the incorporation process. The fees for an accountant may vary depending on the complexity of your case ranging from 3000 to 5000 DKK.
Furthermore it is recommended to hire a lawyer who can review and sign your documents. Their role is crucial in ensuring that your documents align with laws and safeguard your interests as a business owner. A lawyer can also serve as a witness when you sign these papers. The fees for services may also vary based on complexity starting at 2000 DKK.
If you are not a resident of Denmark there might be a compliance fee required to verify your identity and address. This fee amounts to 400 DKK. Might necessitate providing documents such, as passports, utility bills, bank statements or tax returns.
